Brunhildstr. a very small, central and quiet street, 200m. from S-Station "Julius-Leber-Brücke Str.". There are a lot of nice cafes, bars and restaurantes as well as small original shops in the neighbourhood. The guestroom is situated 4th floor within a 70m² dwelling in an old, well restored house . It is a friendly and clean with desktop wardrobe and access to internet .The dwelling is fronthouse but the guestroom goes to a large quiet backyard. ---The kitchen with balconie and the large bathroom are in share with the owner ( nice female of about 50 years). This area of Berlins district "Schöneberg" is called "red iland", because it has been a home of many political left thinking inhabitantes in the 20th and there was much resistance against the Nazis 30th and 40th. All over the disctict Schöneberg you can find traces of famous or not famous people, who were against the Nazis. public transportation: fast and good connection, just 200m from S-Station "Julius-Leber-Brücke Str." where you have a direct connection to the Potsdamer Platz (3 rd stop, time 7 min.), to U-and S-Station "Friedrichstr. ( 4 stops).To U-Station "Kleistpark" (U-line7) it is 5 min. walk. there are also many busses going near by. If you prefere the bike, it will take about 20 min. to Brandenburger Tor and 10 min. to Kreuzberg / Bergmannstr. or to the "Tempelhofer Feld" (green area of the former airport "Tempelhof") |
