| the room (16mē),
as well as the rest of the dwelling (3-room-dwelling, 3rd
floor) are very friendly and beautifull designed with
natural wooden floor, and natural, biological coloures on
the walls and many other nice details --from the window
off the room you have a nice view to greens and on the
river.(also on the street and the underground-train). The
bed is for one or two persons, it is 140cm x 200cm. There
is a desktop in the room, an armchair and a place for
clothes. The bathroom and kitchen is in share with the
hostess (she is about 45 years old, lesbian). The room is
not suitable for women, who need absolutely quiet at
night, because there is a rather big street in front of
the house and also a train of the underground (witch is
"overground" there ) is going just next door . area:
in Falkensteinstr.46, directly at the Oberbaumbridge over
the river "Spree". The bridge was rebuild after
the fall of the Berlin Wall . Former it was a border
between the East and the West of Berlin . It is the
connection between the former east district
Friedrichshain and the western district Kreuzberg . Both
of them have a lot of art and subcultural offers. There
is a very lively and multicultural streetlive with
non-mainstream cafes, bars, art events, small original
shops and touristic attractions (f.e..
East-side-galerie). -- The underground-station
"Schlesisches Tor" (U-line 1) is only 1-2
minutes distance from the accommodation. There are also
many bus-lines and tramway-stations, near by..
